Information on the return of batteries in accordance with Section 12 Battery Directive:

In connection with the sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries and the supply of equipment containing bat-teries or rechargeable batteries, J. P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH is obliged to inform users of the following in accord-ance with the Battery Directive:

Batteries may not be put into the household waste. As an end user, the user is legally obliged to return used batteries. The user may return used batteries after use free of charge to the point of sale in their immediate vi-cinity (e.g. to municipal collection points or to the retailer).

The user may also return the batteries to J. P. Sauer & Sohn GmbH by post. The user can contact their installation company regarding the return. List of installation company links.

Batteries or rechargeable batteries which contain hazardous substances are labeled with the symbol of a crossed-out wheelie bin.

The chemical name of the respective pollutant is located near the symbol of the wheelie bin.
Explanation: Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.
